With more than two decades of experience in the global luxury travel industry, Karen Davidson brings a deep understanding of high-end leisure markets and long-standing relationships with key trade partners. Karen spent almost 17 years with Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts’ Regional Sales Office, where she rose to Director of Business Development, Leisure, overseeing strategic growth across the UK and Europe. She later joined Diethelm Travel Group as Sales Director for the UK, Ireland and Scandinavia, strengthening the DMC’s presence across the region.

Karen then became Global Director of Sales for Minor Hotels, managing the UK, Ireland and Scandinavian markets over a six-year period and driving consistent revenue expansion across a diverse luxury portfolio. Most recently, she served as Head of Chairman’s Club & Business Development at Elegant Resorts, focusing on elite client engagement and high-value partnerships.

Karen now leads as Leisure Sales Director for Canopy, bringing her proven commercial insight, passion for exceptional hospitality and commitment to elevating the luxury travel experience for partners and clients alike.
